The E6B circular flight calculator is used for calculations present in flight planning problems, arithmetic planning up to different in-flight complexes. The calculator side of the rule uses conventional procedures for sliding rules to solve the division, multiplication and conversion of units and uses scales to perform calculations of time, speed, distance, fuel consumption, altitude, air speed, temperature of the air and pressure calculation. The wind side of the ruler provides a graphical method for solving problems and displaying answers in a useful form. Use the wind side for simple problems of addition and subtraction and also to solve the true wind, the winds in flight, the true course (TC) and the speed of the ground (GS), the real heading and the summit and the correction out race. The matte finish on the wind side of the calculator can be used with a pencil during use and then cleaned to deal with the next problem. Since the 1950s the ruler has been reduced to a small extent in the Cosmonaute watch made by Breitling for NASA astronauts to have the temporal conception in space in which day and night are not distinguished.
